Services

Services

Rooted in respect for bees, land, and community, our services are designed to support both pollinators and people—whether you’re starting your first hive, stewarding an established apiary, or navigating a bee situation on your property. With hands-on experience, ethical practices, and a calm, educational approach, we work with bees in a way that prioritizes their health and long-term success.

Starter Beehives & New Beekeeper Support

Thoughtfully raised and well-cared-for starter hives (nucs) are available for those ready to begin their beekeeping journey. Each hive is prepared with bee health, resilience, and local conditions in mind.

What’s included:

      - Healthy starter hives including queen, brood and honey

      - Guidance on hive placement, setup, and seasonal considerations

      - Optional add-ons: equipment recommendations and follow-up check-ins

This service is ideal for homesteaders, gardeners, farmers, and anyone looking to deepen their relationship with the land while supporting local pollinators.

Bee Removal & Relocation (Live Removal of swarms and established colonies)

When bees establish themselves in unwanted locations, we offer live removal and safe relocation. Our approach prioritizes safety, calm handling, and preservation of the colony.

Our process:

      - On-site assessment to determine feasibility of live removal

      - Gentle extraction of bees, comb, and brood when accessible

      - Relocation of the colony to a managed apiary or appropriate habitat

Live removal is always preferred over extermination and helps protect vital pollinators while resolving human–bee conflicts responsibly.

Note: We provide honest evaluations and clear expectations before any work begins. Some removals will require the property owner to sign a liability agreement and waiver.

Mentoring for New & Aspiring Beekeepers

Beekeeping is both an art and a practice best learned through observation and experience. Personalized mentoring is available for those who want hands-on learning and confidence-building support.

Mentorship may include:

      - One-on-one or small group sessions

      - Hive inspections and hands-on demonstrations

      - Seasonal planning and problem-solving

      - Bee behavior, swarm prevention, and hive health basics

Mentoring is tailored to your experience level and goals, with an emphasis on ethical, sustainable beekeeping practices.

Hive Management & Ongoing Care

For property owners, farms, or individuals who want the benefits of bees without managing hives themselves, we offer ongoing hive management services.

Services can include:

      - Routine hive inspections

      - Health assessments and early issue detection

      - Seasonal maintenance and support

      - Harvest guidance or full-service hive care

This option ensures colonies remain healthy, productive, and well-managed throughout the year.

Our Philosophy

We believe bees are not commodities—they are living collaborators in a healthy ecosystem. Every service we offer is guided by:

      - Respect for the hive and its natural rhythms

      - Sustainable, small-scale practices

      - Education and community connection
